The United States is on an unsustainable fiscal path that threatens the futures of our children and grandchildren. National debt exceeds $36 trillion and interest payments are almost $1 trillion annually. This desperate situation threatens the economic stability of future generations and undermines our national priorities.

Interest payments on the national debt surged to almost $1 trillion in 2025. Such crushing and unsustainable government borrowing could erode our national economic growth by crowding out private investment, increasing interest rates, and potentially leading to higher inflation … which is an unescapable tax on all Americans.

The growing debt burden is already affecting national priorities. In 2024, interest payments surpassed spending on Medicare and national defense, and if current fiscal policies persist, the national debt could grow to 156% of GDP by 2055. This burden will affect our ability to secure our borders, support our national security , build critical infrastructure, fund social priorities, and more.

The current trajectory is unsustainable and threatens the economic well-being of future generations. It is time for decisive action to restore fiscal integrity and secure a stable economic future for all Americans. Addressing this fiscal crisis requires bold and courageous leadership. It is imperative to implement comprehensive fiscal reforms that prioritize long-term economic stability over short-term political gains. 

National security encompasses more than just military readiness; it extends to securing the critical productive capabilities and supply chains that underpin our nation's security and economic stability. These include essential sectors such as rare earth minerals, manufacturing capabilities, pharmaceutical supplies, and energy production, and a secure border. 

Critical productive capabilities and supply chains are essential for maintaining national security. Domestic production in areas such as rare earth minerals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, energy, and a secure border are vital to reduce vulnerabilities and ensure that the United States can effectively respond to emerging threats. 

For decades our national leaders have failed to make the difficult decisions to ensure our full national security. Our critical production capabilities and supply chains have been off-shored to unreliable and even hostile regimes. Strong and dedicated leadership is needed to close these strategic weaknesses. We need to reverse course and build these sectors to enhance our strategic autonomy and resilience in an increasingly complex global landscape.

The enduring strength of the United States is deeply rooted in the principles of individual liberty and the foundational rights that safeguard personal freedoms. These rights are not mere privileges granted by the government but are intrinsic to the human condition, forming the bedrock upon which the nation stands. Specifically, Our First and Second Amendment rights have come under attack. 

The First Amendment ensures that all voices can be heard, reinforcing the notion that liberty thrives in an environment of unrestricted expression without fear of government reprisal. This right fosters an open marketplace of ideas, where truth can emerge through discourse and debate. Censorship undermines this principle by suppressing dissent and limiting the exchange of ideas, thereby weakening the very fabric of a free society. 

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution explicitly protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It underscores the principle that individuals possess the autonomy to safeguard their lives and liberties against threats, ensuring that power remains with the people rather than being concentrated solely in the hands of the government. This right shall not be infringed.

By upholding these intrinsic rights — freedom, self-defense, limited government, and free speech — the nation ensures that liberty remains its guiding principle, safeguarding the ideals upon which it was founded.

Securing our nation’s borders is not just a matter of policy - it’s a matter of national sovereignty, safety, and economic stability. Border security is essential to protecting American citizens from the growing threats of illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and human smuggling. Every country has the right and responsibility to control who enters its territory, and the United States is no exception. A strong, secure border helps preserve the rule of law, ensures that immigration is legal and orderly, and defends our communities from criminal activity. Furthermore, unchecked immigration strains public resources, schools, and healthcare systems, placing unnecessary burdens on American taxpayers. By investing in physical barriers, advanced technology, and increased support for Border Patrol agents, we can restore control, uphold our laws, and put American families first. A secure border is a secure America - and that should be a top priority for Congress.
